More than the minimum

Inspect 4 You provides home inspections for homebuyers in the Columbus, Ohio, metropolitan area. We go beyond the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) minimum standards. We make every effort to walk on roofs, enter attics and crawl spaces, remove electrical cover plates to check wiring thoroughly, and inspect the interiors of furnaces for cracked heat exchangers. We use sophisticated and efficient equipment throughout our inspection to detect moisture, gas leaks and carbon monoxide. Most home inspections are visual, followed by hard-to-read handwritten reports. But we provide computer generated, on-site reports that are easy to read and understand. We also offer re-inspections of repaired items prior to closing for a nominal fee. We strive to be the best in our industry, giving our buyers the peace of mind they need when purchasing their homes.

 

Fees determined by size, not price

We believe that inspection costs should be based on square footage instead of property sales price. For example, the same basic house can cost substantially more in one neighborhood than in another, but the inspection takes the same time regardless of location. Get the approximate square footage of the house from your Realtor, then call us for an estimate of inspection time and costs. We encourage all buyers to attend the inspection and familiarize themselves with the property.
